TIGERLILY FOUNDATION’S SADDLE UP EVENT FOR CAREGIVERS
November 22, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm EST
November is National Family Caregivers Month
Tigerlily Foundation’s Saddle Up for Caregivers at Ohana Equestrian Preserve
THE EQUINE EXPERIENCE
Join us as we recognize the dedication of caregivers and to thank family members and those who offer countless hours of service to their loved ones during treatment for breast cancer. This will be a small group of 8 caregivers who will attend this free mini retreat to experience presence, grounding and new awareness led by a trained coach and with active participation by the NLC horses. This unique experience may lower stress levels and reduce feelings of tension and anxiety. This special program is being generously offered by our friends at Ohana Preservation Foundation and hosted by Ohana Equestrian Preserve.
Friday, November 22, 2019 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Program
10:00 AM: Check-in
10:30 AM: Dropping the Reins and North Light Coaching

A unique equine experience that gives participants the opportunity to groom, tack and ride a horse (limited to walking). Whether you have always wanted to ride, rode as a child or have children that ride, come away with a new appreciation for the power of the horse and the physical challenge that riding provides.
Equine Gestalt Experience with Light Coaching
A small group session, featuring the Equine Gesalt Coaching Method (EGCM). EGCM is a form of experimental learning and emotional healing, led by a trained coach and with active participation by the NLC horses. No horse experience is necessary and you will not ride the horses. This mini retreat brings the experience of connecting emotionally with a horse and experiencing presence, grounding, and new awareness.
