Maimah Karmo, CEO & President, Tigerlily Foundation
Maimah Karmo is the Founder and CEO of the Tigerlily Foundation and a fifteen-year survivor of breast cancer. As a leader in the women’s health and disparities field, she works with local, national and global health, policy, advocacy organizations to transform the lives of girls and women. Her TED talk – “Leading Through Surrender to Soul Purpose” – was powerfully received. She is a life coach, hosts The Pure Bliss podcast and hosts the “Manifest” events to inspire people to live the life they were born to manifest. She has spent the past 15 years studying love, leadership, transformation, vulnerability, empathy and resilience.
Vera Morris
After losing a family member, and other friends to breast cancer, in 2015, Vera became an Ambassador for Susan G. Komen, in which she would raise awareness about breast cancer, and speak at events. She was an Honorary Chairperson for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Charlotte NC, where she was marketing events for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and attending fundraiser events. She also is an Ambassador for Pretty In Pink Foundation, Raleigh, NC. She was appointed to be a Patient Advocate Panelist for Tigerlily Foundation’s Patient Advocacy in Policy Change to End Health Disparities series back in March. Vera’s platform “Treasure Your Chest” was created based upon the numerous women her in life that have been impacted by breast cancer. Vera recently started a “Treasure Your Chest” blog that features stories from women and men impacted by breast cancer, that is found on her website www.veramorris.com. Vera is a former Miss North Carolina USA 1998, and was awarded Miss Congeniality at the televised Miss USA 1998 pageant. She is the reigning United States of America’s Ms. 2022, and will be competing for the prestigious title of United States of America’s Ms. 2022 in Las Vegas in February 2022.

Sue Odderstall - Holistic Health Coach
Sue is a Certified Holistic Health Coach, Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Health and nutrition is a passion of Sue’s and she teaches women how to create vibrant health without food deprivation, and make nutrition easy to understand and fun. She is a mother of four and Nana to five, and also stays quite busy as the CEO of her own interior design consulting firm in addition to helping others with their health.
Natalie B. V. Clark - Yoga, Fitness & Meditation Teacher, Reiki Healer
Natalie believes that when we approach life with an open heart, engage with others from a place of compassion, guide others from a place of authenticity, and move through the world with a sense of purpose, an awakening from within occurs. This awakening has the power to heal, nurture, nourish, transform and enliven ourselves, our loved ones, our students and our communities.
Natalie teaches as a means of connecting with herself, with others, the Earth and the Divine, and as an offering to all of those with whom she walks this path of grace, truth and endless discovery. She’s a kind and intuitive human and a life-long learner, who welcomes and includes all students in all bodies with all levels of experience.
Michaela Bekenn is a Toronto-based interdisciplinary artist, singer-songwriter, dancer, storyteller, and wellness practitioner. She completed her yoga training through the Sivananda Centre in Quebec & India, her Sound Therapy training through the Institute of Traditional Medicine in Toronto, and her Meditation teacher training through the Nalanda Institute in New York. Michaela offers Compassion-Based Resilience Training (CBRT) to individuals, communities, and corporate groups, as well as mindfulness practices for addiction recovery, stress reduction, and aiding chronic pain. She finds great joy in working with diverse demographics across Toronto; offering meditation sessions in corporate spaces, movement, music and nature-based education for youth, and sound therapy & yoga for all ages and abilities. Michaela believes deeply in the power of community and integrative wellness. She is committed to nurturing a safe practice and inclusive space for participants to journey inward, and feel nourished from the inside out.
Trayce A. Riley - Manager, Silent Unity Prayer Ministry
Trayce has been with Silent Unity since 2014 as a prayer associate, supervisor, and now manager. Prior to then she served as a non-denominational minister for eight years. With combined passions for spiritual truth and mental wellness, she earned a M.Div. in theology and counseling and completed further studies of Unity principles. She takes great joy in helping others realize their wholeness through Unity principles and affirmative prayer.
