Trial Diversity in Action

Tigerlily Foundation works with the leaders in biotechnology to build trust, transparency and transformation as it pertains to health equity and eliminating barriers to clinical trials. As a trusted partner to patients of color, and led by a Black, female, triple negative (TNBC) breast cancer survivor, who has experienced many of the disparities she works to end; and who has grown an organization from her lived experience while undergoing chemotherapy, Tigerlily Foundation is a leader in diversity and health equity, working to change the way we talk about, think about, develop and deliver innovative therapies to patients of diverse populations. The below list is representative of some of the key trusted partners we work with as allies. With more than 12,000 people having taken our #InclusionPledge and 120+ organizational commitments, we are committed to driving change and innovation in clinical trials. 

Amgen has been a key partner with Tigerlily, collaborating strategic programs, to include training patients of color to build capacity by empowering community leaders who will serve as partners in diversity in clinical trials initiatives. Amgen supports Tigerlily’s TigerTrials program, which is an innovative, Black patient-driven framework developed by Black patients to address and eliminate barriers to clinical trials through building trust, transparency and transformation.Through support from Amgen, Tigerlily developed clinical trial content and matching services, created patient-centric trial summaries, blogs, patient stories, launched a Clinical Trial Advisory Committee and curated a powerful video campaign focused on increasing trust, transparency and transforming the clinical trial landscape. Tigerlily Foundation also serves in a patient advisory capacity on Sanofi’s health equity initiatives, to include diversity in clinical trials.Amgen also has engaged Tigerlily as a collaborator to educate patients on clinical trials and serve as a thought leader, increasing representation of Black female patients as key stakeholders in creating solutions in communities facing the highest disparities in breast cancer.

Tigerlily Foundation also serves in a patient advisory capacity on ensuring patient health literacy for trial content.
Clinical Trial Advisory Services. Tigerlily Foundation has partnered with Lilly Oncology todevelop a clinical trial outreach strategy, to include providing feedback on clinical trial protocols and approach, clinical trial outreach strategy progress and tactics, reviewing clinical trial participant content, participating/hosting videos and/or virtual workshops/events with Lilly employees, and participating in media activities, reviewing media materials and branding.
